HUGHES DENTAL COVID-19 PROCEDURES

In lieu of the COVID-19 Corona Virus we have implemented a few changes at our office. In order to reduce risk of exposure we are asking all patients to call us from their vehicle upon arrival. We then will have you come up to our office and take you directly to your chair so as not to have folks sitting around in our waiting area. We will check your temperature upon arrival. Extra precautions we have implemented are as follows:

• We check all employee temperatures daily.
• We ask anyone including employees if they have been around anyone with a fever cough cold flu-like aches or fatigue in the last 14 days — if they answer yes then we reschedule them for a later date.
• We have 32 years of experience practicing the best dentistry aseptic techniques.
• We replace all instruments in an ultrasonic cleaner or scrub them with brushes.
• They are then placed in sterilizing packages which are then run through a sterilizing machine.
• Items that cannot be subjected to these conditions are placed in cold sterilization, which is a tank of sterilizing solution that sterilizes them after soaking overnight.
• All dental rooms are wiped down after each patient to ensure a disinfected environment.
• We use barriers and disposables wherever possible as well.
